First of all, I would like to thank you for the way your response was
handled, by sending an email alert that my question had been answered. Thank
You.
(that's why I say the heck with spam, and always use my real name etc,
sometimes you get what you really need)
Now, back to the problem with atl.dll... your 'fix' seemed to work, as I did
not get an error that my atl.dll needs replacing, but when I load the wizard
to config the alerts and where to send daily reports, all seems well, and I
click 'next', the wiz stalls for a second, then disappears, doing no further
actions. I checked my events log and it reports that this sometimes happens
from having too many 'items' trying to attach to the database, and to wait
and try again later etc etc...
Well, I am waiting.. ha ha.. it's a 1:15am here, and I will let it 'stew'
till the early afternoon and try again... if I can't get it to start (and
its not even winter yet) you'll be hearing from me... and if it does start,
you will still hear from me!
Thanks again for your response, and the manner it was made!
