RE: Autoresponders

Hi Nathan,

I've tried this and hit a snag.

Our support mailbox is not a real user, i.e. we have a user account called
support, with mailbox support@, but no-one ever logs into that account.
Instead, users add that mailbox to their Outlook, so for example I can see my
own personal mailbox and the support mailbox too.

I tried adding a rule to send a specific template when email was received,
and got a warning that this is a "client-side" rule and would only work when
Outlook is running. Clearly we want the rule to run overnight, weekends etc
when a client machine may not be running.

Can this rule be run just from the Exchange server? If not, can it be run
from a client Outlook if that user is not logged on as support but as another
user who has permission to view the support mailbox?

Thanks,

- Mark
