Hello Mark,
Thank you for posting in the SBS newsgroup.
According to your description, I understand that you would like to
configure auto-reply on the support@xxxxxxxxxxxxx mailbox. If I have
misunderstood your concern, please don¡¯t hesitate to let me know.
To enable the auto-reply function on the specific mailbox, please perform
the below steps:
I. Enable 'Allow automatic replies' option on the Exchange Server:
1. Open the ESM (Exchange System Manager).
2. Expand the organization name.
3. Expand "Global Settings".
4. Highlight "Internet Message Formats".
5. Go to the properties of the Default message format, in the right-hand
pane.
6. Go to the Advanced tab.
7. Make sure the following settings are enabled:
Allow out of office responses
Allow automatic replies
Allow automatic forward
II. Create an auto-reply rule on the client Outlook.
1. To create an Auto-Reply rule, please log into Outlook, click Tools->
Rules and Alerts-> Create a new Rule and use Criteria:
2. Apply this rule after the message arrives, reply using a specific
template.
3. Then customize the template so Auto-Reply will use this template.
To get additional detailed information, you may refer to the following KB

Best regards,
