Ran workstation connectcomputer after allowing other subnet access via
granting subnet under default web site & child virtual sites also. It appears
that most os the setting worked correctly except for My documents
redirection, even the applications were deployed OK. Found one user did not
get a ID setup under Documents & settings folder & whether I add them in
locally I cannot fix the local profile fo this user. There are 2 users that
swap machines & one user's profiles works fine & can log into both machine &
even the exchange mail works great! I did find that during the initial
workstation setup it would not allow you to pick 2 users to log into the same
PC & allow you to migrate & match the local profiles aloready setup for the
users. I get "The local policy does not allow you to login interactively"
The PCs on the other subnet use static IP.subnet.gateway addresses & point
DNS.WINS to SBS on primary subnet. The DNS forward & reverse lookup zones
work fine for both subnets.
Of cource the connectcomputer functiion will not run again on the same PC &
I do not want to lose the one user that is setup on both mackines OK.
Anyone have any ideas????
