HI,
Thanks for posting here.
Issue description:
============
If I understand correctly, as you enter your domain incorrectly you want to
know if you can change the name of it on several component of SBS.
Analyzing and suggestions:
============
Generally speaking, in SBS 2003 we have several places that will place the
company name, as I know we could not change the domain name of existing
domain, if you have installed the Exchange 2003 already. But we can change
the company name on some of the SBS component to accomplish your goal:
A. Company name on the WSS site
1. Access Comanyweb site, and then click 'Site Settings'.
2. Click 'Change site title and description', and then input the desired
new name in 'Title'.
3. Click ok to confirm the change.
B. RWW
You can change this company name (organization name) by editing the
following registry entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\RegisteredOrg
anization
Note Only names of 50 characters or less are supported.
To remove Companyweb name from RWW
1. Open Windows Explorer, go to C:\Inetpub\Remote.
2. Back up the logon.aspx file.
3. Open logon.aspx with Notepad.
4. Remove "<%=loadResString("L_RUP_TITLE", m_strOrgName)%>", and all
"<%=m_strOrgName%>".
5. Go to http://server/remote, you should no longer see the company name.
You can also hand-edit the logon.aspx, header.aspx, and tsweb.aspx files
and replace the <%=m_strOrgName%> line with whichever orgname you want.
Also note: the Titles have a variation of this that is Orgname Remote Web
Workplace.
C. Monitoring
To change the ORG name in usage/performance report, you need to change the
following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SmallBusinessServer\RegisteredOrganiza
tion.
<file:Server Performance Report - JIAFU-SBS2K3-V12.msg>
This will also change the sender's 'Display name' in the usage/performance
report.
If you want to change the sender's 'Display name' for the Alert e-mail:
<file:Routing and Remote Access Alert on JIAFU-SBS2K3-V1.msg>
1. Open up 'Health Monitor' from 'Administrative Tools'.
2. In the left pane, expand 'All Monitored Computers' ¨¤ 'Server name' ¨¤
Actions, and then right click 'Email xxx@xxxxxxxxxx' to choose Properties.
3. Switch to the 'Details' tab and then change the data in the 'From' data.
4. For example, you may want to change the value data from
"Old Company" Administrator@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
To
"New Company" Administrator@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
D. E-mail addresses
You can navigate to Exchange system management and change the recipient
policy to apply the newly registered domain suffix.
E. Connection Manager
1. You can rerun "remote access wizard" to change the name on the wizard,
it will also change the name of connection management.
Hope the above information helpful, if you have any further concerns,
please feel free to let me know. I will be here waiting for your updates.
Best regards,
Charles Yang (MSFT)

| I recently completed the set up on a SBS2003 Standard and then noticed
that
| during the first part of the load by the systems builder (disk 1) the
company
| name had been incorrectly entered as "Waterside" instead of "Waterfront".
| Now the company default home page has Waterside in it's title and reports
are
| generated with "watersid" in the text (see the Caller User Name):
|
| Logon Failure:
| Reason: Unknown user name or bad password
| User Name: administrator
| Domain: WATERFRONT
| Logon Type: 3
| Logon Process: Advapi
| Authentication Package: Negotiate
| Workstation Name: WATERFRONT
| Caller User Name: IUSR_WATERSID
| Caller Domain: WTRFRT
| Caller Logon ID: (0x0,0x54CFAA8)
| Caller Process ID: 5632
| Transited Services: -
| Source Network Address: -
| Source Port: -
|
| I've changed all references to "Waterside" in the registry but to no
avail.
| Any idea how I change at least the Server Usage and Performance report
title
| please?
