Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Uh.. dear...

Put SBS 2003 premium in the cdrom.

Boot from there.

You let the wizard do EVERYTHING.

I have tried for the last 2 weeks to get The small bus. server to install. I am an MS partner with the MS action pack. I installed Windows 2003 Server Standard on a PC (PIII 1 gig with 512 MB Ram) It works fine. I promoted it to a Domain Controller. It is the only one in the network. Other than that I have done nothing with it. I am now trying to upgrade it with Small Bus Server 2003 Premium. It seems to go AOK until the last 1% of install. The install progress bar in the 1st stage of install show about 1/8th to 1/16th of an inch left and it hangs. I have left it alone for over 24 hours with no change. I finally have to reboot the system the hard way. task manager show 100% CPU usage. What is going on. I get no error messages etc.

It leaves an I con to continue setup on the desk top, but if I click on it, it will start the install from scratch and then hang.

The only errors in the Application logs are as follows:
