Thank you for posting back!
At this stage, we cannot determine whether this hotfix can be applied, as
we do not have a conclusion whether this issue is caused by VSS or Windows
Server 2003 SP1.
I still strongly suggest you that contact our PSS immediately before thing
is getting worse and worse. As I mentioned in the previous reply, you
cannot remove the Windows Server 2003 SP1, but you do not have a backup in
the tape either.
If you want to continue installing the rest patches in SBS 2K3 SP1, you
need to have a full backup first. PSS will help you to have an offline
backup for your server. They also will help you troubleshoot your current
Backup issue.
