RE: SBS2003 - Exchange online; file synch offline

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Nathan,

Sorry for the delay, but I only have limited access to the troublesome
client. The problematic client is still behaving funny. Regarding your
earlier questions:

These are not installed.

This morning, I tried the w32tm /monitor command and did not receive the
earlier error statement. However, the problematic client is still not
synchronizing offline files (see more details below) or finding shared
printers on the network. The client can still surf the web, access internal
web pages and use Outlook for email.

I removed all non-MSFT services and the problem still occurs.

More details on problem:
Today, the problematic client seems to 'think' it can synchronize files, but
nothing happens. The synchronize window pops up, lists a path and appears
ready to go, but no files are updated and the window hangs like this forever.

Question: It seems like some Active Directory functions work (like Internet
access), but others don't (like access to printers). How can I verify that
this client can reach the appropriate Active Directory domain.

Thanks in advance for your advice. Ray
