So I wondered if the problem was the telnet server. I have a member
server at 10.0.0.100, so I turned on the telnet service there, set the
Packet Filter to 10.0.0.100 on the Remote Computer, and telnet it
opened a connection. OK, I changed the Packet Filter's Remote Computer
field to 192.168.2.3; restarted the ISA control, and issued the
following command in the CMD screen: telnet 10.0.0.100. It opened.
Bummer! Then I did telnet 192.168.2.3, and it failed to open a
connection. Double Bummer! I conclude that I have no idea if this
packet filter is working. Do I have to reboot the machine before I get
the new values of the packet filter to apply?
