Sure, but there's a reason for that. I'd bite the bullet and give them their
own DC in your domain, and have them access their Exchange data via
RPC/HTTPs. I understand your concerns about bandwidtch usage - is that
*really* your *only* option?

Don't store data on the workstations at all and don't worry about backing
them up. Data belongs on the server and roaming profiles means there's
nothing you care about stored locally.

No point if they're going to have their own Exchange server. They get little
functionality with POP and you can't centralize your data.

I would discourage using your SBS box as a terminal server....it's one of
the things I'm glad is impossible in SBS2003. It should never have been
allowed. Users shouldn't log into the server, desktop apps shouldn't be
installed on the server. Too much is at stake.

Yes, that can work too, if you have a spare/idle WinXP Pro box in the office
at the time.
