Hello Ray,
Thank you for posting in the SBS newsgroup.
According to your description, I understand that you have a client cannot
access printers hanging off the server or synchronize his offline files and
folders. If I have misunderstood your concern, please don't hesitate to let
me know.
First of all, if this issue only occurs on the specific client, it could
most likely be related to a client side issue.
To narrow down this issue, please answer and perform the below questions
and steps:
1. What OS of the problematic client workstation? Did you run the Set Up
Client Computer Wizard to add the problematic computer? Did you join the
problematic computer into the SBS 2003 Domain by using
http://SBSServerName/connectcomputer link?
2. Please run "IPCONFIG /ALL" on the problematic computer and one of
other proper computers, and then compare the TCP/IP configuration of the
problematic computer and other proper computers.
3. Please use the problematic user account to logon other proper clients,
and check if the issue can be reproduced. Please also use other proper user
accounts logon the problematic workstation, and then check if the issue can
be reproduced.
4. If the issue persists, please try to replace a NIC on the problematic
computer, and then try again.
I am appreciated your time and cooperation. If anything is unclear, please
feel free to let me know. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Nathan Liu (MSFT)
