If it helps at all I had the same sort of problem and also could not find
answers, until someone told me about software raids (yes the ones that come
with Windows).
I had mirroring setup and the server would just keep rebooting itself (mind
you, this was after 18 months running problem free with the same setup).
Removed the mirror, and the rebooting stopped...
