slow directory

I have a shared directory on my SBS 2003 that is extremely slow. I can
navigate other shares on the same drive with excellent speed, but this one
directory is horrible. This directory was copied from an NT server several
months ago and I am working with the files now.

I am running a Linksys router WRT54g and both desktop (XP Pro, SP2) and
server are wired to it.
