Hello Bitsmasher,
Thank you for posting in the SBS newsgroup.
According to your description, I understand that you would like to link the
Exchange Public Calendar to external web site. If I have misunderstood your
concern, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Based on my research, though we are unable to implement this functionality
using the Exchange servers directly, we can share a calendar folder through
other ways. I would like to provide you with the following suggestions:
Method 1:
======
This method to share a calendar folder is that you create some Exchange
accounts for the external users and then they can access the public
calendar
folders through Outlook Web Access (OWA). Please follow the steps below to
do this:
1. On your Exchange server, create some non-mailbox-enabled accounts for
the external users. Assign proper permissions for them.
2. Create a public calendar folder in the Public Folders on your Exchange
server. Assign proper permissions on this folder to the accounts for the
external users.
3. The external users can access this folder through OWA. For example, they
can type the following URL in the Address box of Internet Explorer:
http://<exchange_server_address>/public/<shared_folder>
After typing the user name and password, the users can view the items
depending on their permissions.
Method 2:
======
For calendar sharing, Outlook 2003 allow you to publish the free/busy times
from your calendar to an Internet site so other people can know when you're
available, so you can publish free/busy information to any server that you
have read and write permissions. For detailed steps, please refer to the
below KB article:
827775 How to use the Internet Free/Busy feature in Outlook 2003
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=827775
Method 3:
======
We can also use some third-party utilities to share a calendar folder. For
your information, I have listed a popular Web site below:

I am appreciated your time and cooperation. If anything is unclear, please
