RE: Not able to connect to client from RWW page

Hello Chang,
Thank you for posting back and your additional information!
Please understand that the steps in my previous reply are very important
for us to isolate the issue. Here I have some more additional suggestions.
First of all, I assume that you have
a. Rerun CEICW. If you have not performed the steps, please refer to the KB
article in my previous reply and run it again.
b. Confirm the two problematic clients are listed in the Remote Web
Workplace User Group. If they are not listed there, definitely they do not
have remote function.
Please take your time to collect the following information to us for
further troubleshooting:
1. Does this issue happen internally or externally? If it happens from the
Internet, do you have ISA server or router installed in front of the SBS
server, and what is the version of your ISA server, 2K or 2K4? Also, please
make sure that TCP port 4125 is opened.
2. Ask the problematic client log on a good workstation, will this issue
happen?
3. Can these problematic clients open OWA from LAN
(https://servername/exchange)? If they type https//Public_IP/remote in IE,
can they access RWW? Also, can they open http://servername from LAN?
4. If this issue happens in LAN, run "ipconfig /all" (without quotation
marks) on one of the problematic workstation and the server, please paste
the full content to the Newsgroup.
5. Please fully explain "cannot connect to RWW page directly" and "The one
that can allow RWW connect is not problem to accept the all users accounts
which mean any account is able to connect from that client through RWW".
Do you mean that they cannot open the RWW front page or they can open RWW
front page, but fail to log in?
Please collect the information above with the previous information. I am
appreciated your time and cooperation, and am looking forward to hearing
from you!
Best regards,
Brandy Nee
