Hi,
I'm trying to install SBS 2003 Sp1 on our SBS server. Before I attempted to
install I followed all the best practice guidelines by disabling av, backup
software, etc however when I get to step 5 (installing SBS 2003 Sp1) the
progress bar gets about one third of the way across and then gives me the
following error message.
'Windows Small Business Server Service Pack 1 Setup has encountered an
error. For more information, review the most recent entry in the Setup error
log in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Integration\Windows Small Business Server
2003\Logs\setup.log. Then correct the error and re run Service Pack 1 Setup
again.'
So I check the log as suggested but no errors are shown. I have pasted the
log below for your reference.
[Setup run at 15:07:03 on 08/04/05]

Version: 2.0

So when I click OK to the error message the service pack continues
immediately to the finished dialogue and asks me to reboot.
So because I can't see what's wrong, I can't fix it so can't continue.
Any help would be appreciated.
Many thanks,
Robert :-)
