It is handled as any other screensaver. Yes, you could set it through group
policy but you may have to accept the defaults settings of winexit.scr. Of
course GP would not apply to Windows 98 and I am not sure winexit.scr will
run at all on Windows 98. Be aware that setting winexit.scr to "close all
programs" and logoff could cause users to lose unsaved data. This is why I
settle for locking the workstation instead of logging off. You can do this
by setting enabling a screensaver password through GP.
You can run %windir%\System32\rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation as a
scheduled task to run when the computer is idle for a specified length of
time. You can also set this through a logon script.
