Hello Kiani,
Thank you for posting back!
Please see my following information:
1. You mentioned that "I'll call support and get a patch as you recommended
earlier", I need to know whether you have contacted the PSS to obtain and
apply the hotfix in KB 828653 on your server. If you have not applied it
yet, please contact PSS and apply the hotfix on your server. This is the
first thing we need to do. Clean boot is just an additional method.
2. Please explain in detail, on 28th July, you mentioned that "I have
followed the instruction supplied and removed one of the service IP/ TCP
service", what instruction you have applied? Do you mean the clean boot?
3. We still concentrate on your first issue and see whether the warning is
related with the issue, and resolve issues one by one. Thanks for your
understanding!
4. I understand that you install VERITAS and Mcafee AV on the server, I
cannot find these two software in our Windows Server Catalog, so I cannot
guarantee they work compatible with SBS 2K3 server. Please see:
VERITAS in Windows Server Catalog:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/catalog/server/default.aspx?subID=22&xslt=g
lobalsearch&qu=VERITAS&scope=2&sortcol=win2003&sortdir=descending&page=1
Mcafee in Windows Server Catalog:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/catalog/server/default.aspx?subID=22&xslt=g
lobalsearch&qu=+Mcafee&scope=2
5. You mentioned that "The original Error came back again", so I need to
know did you perform any changes on the server so it disappeared after the
first time it came out.
I am appreciated your time and cooperation, and am looking forward to your
reply!
Best regards,
Brandy Nee
