Hi Charles,
With regard to Q872769 Microsoft state that the problem was fixed in XP
Service Pack 2; all these machines have always been SP2 they were all
installed from XP SP2 CDs.
I have emailed the setup.log & sbsmsi-gpmc.log to you as requested.
