Service pack install error

Help.
I set aside this weekend to do the service pack instal to my SBS system.
However, I cannot get past an error installing the Windows Server 2k3
service pack. The install fails with the error "Failed to install catalog
files". I have tried all the suggestions from a search of the microsoft
site but nothing seems to do the job.
