Re: Tape Backup Drive Recommendation

We've moved all of our clients over to external USB Hard Drive backups,
either as their tape drives died or they were replacing servers.
Additionally, all new server deployments are being spec'd with HD backup
solutions. I have complete faith in external USB Hard Drive backups, having
done a bare-metal restore of an SBS 2003 Premium from NTBackup on an
external USB HD.

We've been using SimpleTech external USB Drives - 3 yr warranty, and they
hold up extremely well (we've only had to replace one under warranty, and
that was acting up within the first couple weeks.
