SBS 2003 Updates and Problems

I recently installed Windows Server 2003 SP1, SBS 2003 SP1 and the other
updates required to install them and I have had some interesting results. I
hope someone can help me.

I can't change the display resolution as there are no tabs in the display
properties window. All I can change is the theme.

My Companyweb site was unaccessible so I uninstalled it and tried to
reinstall it and now the Intranet Component installation fails.

I did exactly the same thing on another server and it blocked all inbound
traffic onto the server yet the firewall service had not (could not) started.
I found that uninstalling Windows Server 2003 SP1 resolved this issue but I
don't know what sort of security state the server is in now with some patches
applied and others not.

Any thoughts?
