Hi Nicolas,
I'm not ignoring you, I just don't have any other idea. I did another test
on another SBS2003 install, mapping a drive from a 2000 Server and then
running a backup to that drive (not UNC). No problem. I also asked some of
my techs if they could think of a cause. All they came up with are all the
permission issues that you have already addressed. Sorry I can't help any
further. I guess I would call MS. They should not charge for this one.
