Issue description:
I understand that you failed to install SBS 2003 SP1.
Analyzing:
This issue might be caused by many factors, in order to make the issue more
clear, I suggest you follow my steps below to gather the information:
Suggestions:
1. Please collect the detailed error log files and paste them to newsgroup.
You can find the log files at the following locations:
>From the \program files\microsoft integration\windows small business server
2003\logs directory, paste the following files to newsgroup:
eventlog.txt
errorlog.txt
setup.log
2. If possible, please also check the event view to see if there are any
errors or warning event please also pastes them to newsgroup.
3. Please also refer to my information below to double confirm if you have
applied SBS 2003 SP1 with the right steps:

updates included with Service Pack 1 for Windows Small Business Server 2003
from CD.
