my documents re-direction

Hi all, currently in my SBS environment all users save their documents and
files to their local My Documents folder. Unfortunately none of them have
any backup procedures. I am trying to come up with an easy way of enforcing
a backup procedure. How well does My Documents re-direction work? Would it
be seamless if I enabled it now? That way I can simply backup the folders on
the server and be done. Any guidance here is much appreciated.

TIA!
