Recovering from failure of SBS 2003 SP1 installation

SP1 failed install due to insufficient disk space. Subsequent uninstall
process failed as well and left server unable to boot (blue screen for a
milisecond and then reboot). Tried to perform a reinstall using the Dell
installation disks and found out too late that you can't do that with the
Dell disks. Ended up with an additional copy of SBS 2003 on machine. The
good news is that I can at least now look at the disks with the alternate
booting os.

1) I've seen reference to a reinstall (repair install) not being a good
idea. I've done this on a plain old 2000 server after switching out a
motherboard and it worked great - all applications and configuration was in
tact. Is this really a problem on SBS 2003 Standard?

2) If I did want to try the repair/install, and since the Dell CDs won't
perform that function (apparently been scripted out), can I use any set of
SBS 2003 CDs? Or do we have to purchase a new set of standard
non-Dell-branded installation CDs?

3) Any other great ideas?

Wes
