Email issues

Hello all,
I configured a SBS2003 Server for a client and they initially were going to
transfer all of the email to this server. The changed their mind and
decided to let the email host handle all of the email for now. the problem I
am having is that the remote users will not be logging into the network now
and they will be getting their email from the host. So when the local users
try to send email to the remote users they don't receive it, the mail is
going to the sbs server.
what I need to know is how do I set the sbs server to send all mail to the
host and not use exchange so the mail will go to the host and the remote
users can get it.
The client wants to still use the calendaring functionality in exchange. So
I am unable to just shut down exchange and use pop3 at the desktops only.
FYI. all of the desktops are configured to use pop3 but they are using
exchange also. I set the pop3 account to be the primary account in Outlook
2003 but it is still not working.
Please help and Thank you
