Charles,
Thanks for the reply. Here is an update:
While reviewing the System event logs (again after the second lock up), I
noticed 2 Volume Shadow Copy messages just prior to each lock up of the
server. MS article 884055 states that the lock ups can occurr as a result of
a problem in the Volsnap.sys driver. The article recommends applying SBS
2003 SP1.
I will apply SP1 and retry operation.
