Just a thought, When I install Office on the client computer, I copy the disk
to the root directory and run the setup from there, then when a compnent is
needed, a conversion or an item that wasnt part of the original install is
needed it loads from that location without needing the disk. I also put in a
txt file with the license. Can't tell you the number of times the client has
misplaced the disk when they have issues.
Thanks for the symantec work around, I just deployed 10 and saw the office
pop up asking for the disk.
