Re: Can't add users to the computer after joining the domain

In general you should use the \\SBSserver\connectcomputer to join a computer
to the domain. Once the computer has been joint any user with a domain
account can logon to that computer. I'm not sure why you are even tying to
create local accounts. Users that log in with a local account will not be
able to access domain resources without authenticating.

In your case I would got the the property page of "My Computer" click on the
NetworkID tab and move the box to a WorkGroup. Reboot the computer. Delete
the computer from the AD at the SBS and create a new account for it. Log
into the computer with the local admin account and complete the process via
\\SBSserver\connectcomputer.
