Hi Dean:
Thank you for your update.
Technically speaking, we can redirect HTTP request to an internal Linux
Server by RRAS. Have you performed the configuration provided by Jerry?
What's the result?
For your convenience, I paste the steps above:
1. Use CEICW to set all the network settings back to default and publish a
new port 8888 for the web site on the Linux server.
Open 'Server Management', navigate to 'To Do List' and click 'Connect to
the Internet'. Re-run CEICW and when you configure the firewall options,
select 'Enable Firewall', click add button, input a service name and select
TCP, fill in port 8888, inbound. Follow the instruction finish the wizard.
2. Open the RRAS console from administrative tools -> Routing and remote
access, expand IP routing, select NAT/basic firewall, right click on
Network connection in the right frame, select properties, on the services
and ports tab, select the service that you just add in the CEICW, click
edit, change the private address to the IP address of the Linux server.
3. On the Linux server change the configuration to let the web site listen
on the port 8888. (This is very important.)
You may contact the support of Linux manufacturer for more information
about how to configure Apache to listen on a specified port.
Meanwhile, please also check the networking settings of the internal
application server. Make sure that the default gateway of the Apache server
is pointing to the ISA's internal NIC.
In additional, I notice that you have ordered a 2003 SP1 Premium CD, so I'd
like to provide more information about ISA2004 for your reference:
How to use ISA2004 to publish web servers:

An error when install ISA2004 on SBS2003 SP1 without ISA2000 installed:

I appreciate your patience and effort, if you have anything unclear, please
don't hesitate to let me know. I'm glad to be of assistance.
Have a nice day!:)
Best Regards

| Hi Edward,
| I'm still waiting on the 2003 SP1 Premium CD.
|
| Can I make a suggestion that you include the original posts in your
replies,
| it makes it difficult for people reading from newsgroups to understand
what
| the original query was.
|
| Thanks for your interest though.
|
| BTW does anyone know why sbs2003 couldn't do this natively? I'm sure ISA
| 2004 will give me a whole heap of benefits but just curious as to why I
can
| forward to windows shares but not linux.
|
| Cheers,
| Dean
