RE: Exchange SP1 installation problems

Hello Jerry, I am hoping you can help with this one. SBS 2k3 server is fully
patched thanks to you. I have some major issues now though. I get a
connectivity error 26 in Outlook on the workstaitons which will kick the
users out of SQL applications, Quickbooks, etc. I have tried replacing
cables, switches, upgrading all hardware and software and am getting no where
fast. The issue is actually getting worse. I can ping the server, routter,
etc. Ping yahooo forever and never get a time out. There is no consistancy to
the time outs but now I am getting a delay write error on some of the
machines in the last day. I am lost now. The issue happened right after sp1
and has gotten worse. Please help. I have no errors on the server that
pertain to the issue, just a 30 second time out that kills the network. Where
to now boss? I have changed to nic in the server to a gb, I am not running
ISA, no firewall that would do this. Turned off group policy. I got a reply
from a gentleman about an update and that made the issue worse. It pertained
to the MTU transfer within the network. I have adjusted the MTUs of the
router to 1500 but that made it worse. I am lost. I can trouble shoot a
majority of all issues but when it gets into reg. errors, I am not up to
speed until someone points it out to me. I am about to wippe to the box clean
and start over and there in no problems with outside access or the webmail
internal or external. Help me Please.
