Hi Christopher,
Thank you for posting here.
First of all, I recommend you to re-run the Internet Connection Wizard to
re-configure the ISA Packet Filter.
1. Open SBS Administrator Console.
2. Click To Do List.
3. Click "Internet Connection Wizard".
4. Proceed to the last page "Configure Packet Filtering".
5. Choose "Enable ISA Server packet filtering" and make sure the "Terminal
Server" box has been checked.
6. Finish the wizard.
If the problem persists, please follow the steps below to check ISA.
1. Open ISA Management.
2. Go to Server/Access Policy/IP Packet Filteres.
3. In the right pane, make sure that the BackOffice TS 3389 In CustomFilter
has been allowed.
4. Double click it to check its properties.
5. TCP Inbound 3389 to All remote ports. (on default IP address on the
external interface for all remote computers)
If the packet filter is OK, please check whether you're able to telnet 3389
from the internet.
1. On a internet computer, open CMD prompt.
2. Run the following command:
telnet <public domain name> 3389
(where <public domain name> is your SBS domain's public domain name.)
3. If a blank screen appear, the 3389 port is OK. Otherwise, please check
the router in front of the SBS machine. Make sure that the router has
forwarded port 3389 to the SBS server.
I hope the above info helps.
If there's anything unclear, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Regards,
Bill Peng
