Original posting seems to have got lost, am re-posting, but if original turns
up, apologies for duplication.
SBS 2003 (German) with full SP1 was crashing on a weekly basis before SP1 -
and continues to do so after SP1.
Effect begins by being unable to access any internal Website (companyweb,
Exchange or Symantec Mail Security).
Resart/reset of IIS or services does not report any error but websites
continue to be unavailable.
Unless server is re-booted it "hangs/crashes" within 48 hours of the website
effect being noticed.
No unusual errors are noted in logs until the crash begins, then errors
relating to file access can be seen (Arcserve fails, service errors etc). The
log entries are never the same and seem to just be reporting sympoms
depending on current usage, not any cause.
After re-boot today, see two new items in the event logs which have not been
seen before.
Event ID: 1008, Source: Perflib, Event Type: Error

The Open procedure for service PSched in .dll xxxxx. Performance data for

Tranlated :
Configuration info in performance DB xxxxx for the service W3SVC do not
match trust info in the registry. The functions of this library will not be
treated and trustworthy.
I did notice that SBSMonitoring seemed to be off (probably since SP1) and
re-activated via use of the assistant.
Would appreciate any ideas or info anyone may have.
