Thank you for the update.

Based on my knowledge, the John C's issue is not a common case and neither
a know issue. And if we want to dig into it and troubleshoot his specific
issue, we may need more information such as event log, installation log,
setup log.

Just as I said in the initial reply, the update should be ok in normal
scenario.
