Hi Edwin,
Can you expand on "The problem is that they are all located in the same
building and have some employees that do some work for 2 company's at the
same time"?
a. How many employees (and workstations) are engaged in the cross-company
work?
b. Is the work now done from a common database (data kept in it for both
companies)?
With the proper set up, you could VPN into another companies server to
access and update data. If WinXP Pro workstations are dedicated for these
few workers, they could RWW or RDP into the dedicated workstation in the
other company to perform work.
I think keeping the 3 company's resources (data and computers) physically
separated is always the best business approach.
