RE: Can't download connection manager in RWW

Hi Craig,

Welcome to our SBS newsgroup.

>From your description, I understand that you encountered problem when you
download the Connection management from RWW. If I am off base, please let
me know.

Before we go any further, can I assume that you have changed the server
public IP address; can I assume that you use the public IP address as your
certificate? Have you registered FQDN name on ISP or on some third part
organization?

In order to make the issue more clear, please follow the steps to perform
tests:

1. Please make sure that the SBSpackage.exe is located in
%systemroot%\interpub\remote. If not, you need to rerun the remote access
wizard to make sure that the file is put in that folder.
2. Could you test if you can download the CM from internal client
computers? Does it occur on the server itself?
3. If possible, could you use the internal server IP address and public IP
address to access the RWW to see if you can download it from RWW?
4. Do you have ISA installed on your SBS 2003?

I appreciate your taking time to collect information. Please paste your
results as your convenience, if you have any further concerns; please feel
free to let me know.

Best regards,

Charles Yang (MSFT)
