Hi Pasha,
Thanks for your reply.
Currently, please try the following steps to determine if the issue is
caused by ISA:
1. Schedule a down time.
2. Run "net stop fweng" to stop ISA services and drivers.
3. From an Internal client, clear proxy setting, and then access the RWW
by using the FQDN name. Does the problem still exist?
If the problem still persists, would you please help me collect the
following information?
1. Please send me the network MPS report on your SBS server.
1) Visit
http://download.microsoft.com/download/b/b/1/bb139fcb-4aac-4fe5-a579-30b0bd9
15706/MPSRPT_NETWORK.EXE to download the file.
2) Run the MPSRPT_NETWORK.EXE on the server box.
3) Wait for 10~15 minutes.
4) Open Windows explorer, navigate to
%SYSTEMROOT%\MPSReports\Network\Reports\cab\
5) Send the .cab file directly to me v-crinal@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
2. Gather the ISA info as following:
1) Download the file from the following URL:
http://isatools.org/ISAInfo.vbe
2) Copy the file ISAInfo.vbe into ISA server, and then double click it.
This will generate a file <computer-name>_ISAInfo.txt file in C:\Program
Files\Microsoft ISA Server.
3) Please post this file to newsgroup.
3. Please post 2 screen shot of RDP using http://sbs.domain.com/Remote
from internal network and external network to newsgroup.
4. Would you please give us a testing account so that we can connect to
your RWW to reproduce the issue? You can send the information to me
through email.
Please also refer to the following KB:

Hope the information help and I look forward to your reply.
Best regards,
Crinal

| Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately, none of them worked. To
| answer your questions - telnetting to 4125 from outside results in
| this:
|
| $ telnet sbs.domain.com 4125
| Trying 123.45.67.89...
| telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused
|
| Adding an ISA 2004 rule that allows TCP/4125/Outbound from All Networks
| to All Networks for All Users results in the same thing. Monitoring the
| logs for port 4125 connections shows connections from my external test
| machine Initiated and Closed... nothing denied.
|
| It doesn't matter who I log on to RWW as; I get the VBscript error
| imediately on clicking connect.
|
| It doesn't matter which computer I try to connect to; I get the error
| immediately.
|
| >From inside the firewall, going to http://sbs.domain.com/Remote results
| in the error when I try to RDP. Going to http://sbs/Remote works fine
| and I can RDP anywhere.
