I have experienced this problem and Chris's question regarding the IP
address of the client machine reflects the cause of my problem. What is the
IP address of the internal nic on the SBS box? What is the IP address of the
XP client that is trying to connect? In my case, the SBS box was
192.168.16.2 and the XP client was part of another SBS network using the
same internal IP addresssing scheme (192.168.16.x). I could fully connect
but could not browse the network. Changing the internal IP addressing scheme
(to 192.168.17.x) on one of the SBS networks fixed the problem.
Sorry if this not the cause of your problem but given the similarity to my
circumstances (any many others that I read about in the course of my
research), I thought it was worth asking the question again. :)
