Re: Lan setup 2 nic

Hi Marina,

Yesterday after my last posting, this server went on a seemingly permanent
holiday. It started with blue screen stop errors and would not start up again
in normal mode after many tries. I was finally able to get it to start in
safe mode with network connections. So I off loaded everything and did a
clean install of SBS 2003. It works great now.

It seems like I still have to create new clients for all the client
computers. Just creating new clients and users with the same names and
passwords doesn't seem to be enough to have proper connections to the
domain...

Regarding our earlier discussion, I could not find your attached screen
shots. In any case, with the automatic network setup (CEICW), it checked the
binding for Client for MS networks and its related TCP/IP just under it
automatically for the external nic. Seems to work like that so I guess I am
in good order. Unless you think it is a security issue or other potential
problem.

Thank you very much for staying with me for all this long discusssion. I
really appreciate it very much. We won't forget you offer services for SBS
work as you mentioned on your website.
