RE: Fax Preview Button

Hello GHN,

Thank you for your update.

To workaround your issue, please help me perform the following steps:

1. Please use Add User wizard to add a new user, and use the Set Up
Client Computers wizard to add a new computer account, assign the Shared
Fax Client application to the computer.

2. Please use the http://servername/connectcomputer to join the computer
to the SBS 2003 domain. And use the new user account login and install the
Shared Fax Client application.

3. Please try to fax again, and check if you can see the fax preview
button.

4. Log off the current user, and use the administrator account login the
computer.

5. Remove the new user account from Local Administrators group, and then
add it into Local User group.

6. Please try to fax again, and check if you can see the fax preview
button.

7. If the issue persists, please add the new user account to local power
user group, and then try again.

If the issue still persists, you need to add the user account to the local
administrators group. For SBS Server, if you manually remove the user
account from the local administrators group, the Assign Applications to
Client Computers feature will fail.

I hope this helps. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not
hesitate to let me know. I am always happy to be of further assistance.

Best regards,

Nathan Liu (MSFT)
