Upgrading XP home to Pro

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Our network consists of mainly Dell Dimension workstations, supplied by Mr
Dell with Win XP home (from their Small Business division....). These will
hang off the SBS but obviously not join the domain, and we have decided to
upgrade to XP pro.

Basic question is should I flatten the boxes and start afresh with XP pro,
given that I have only Dell recovery disks for the XP home, and want to use
upgrade packs for the XP pro.

Hope the above makes sense.

Regards

Tom.
