Re: Cannot Access Workstation or Server Shares from a SBS 2003 Ser

Hi Phil,

Thanks for your reply.

Please try to edit the domain Controllers policy to override the local
policy. To do it, please try the following:

1. Open Server Management, and then expand Advanced Management | Group
Policy Management | Forest | Domains | Server name | Domain Controllers.
2. Right click Default Domain Controllers Policy and select Edit.
3. In Group Policy Object Editor, expand Computer Configuration | Windows
Settings | Security Settings | Local Policies.
4. Click Security Options.

If it does not work, please use another Domain Admin user account to try.

Hope the information help and I look forward to your reply.

Best regards,

Crina Li (MSFT)

| Hello Crina Li,
|
| Thanks for the detailed response. I'm sure it will help get to the bottom
of
| this.
|
| The registry settings did not match and I have changed them so that they
now
| match.
|
| The Group Policy edits are not set to the defaults and I want to change
them
| per your suggestion... but when I try, the option to enable or disable is
| greyed out.
|
| Is there perhaps a policy above the policy I'm trying to change that
| prevents it from being changed or do I need another regedit to enable the
| option to change?
|
| Thanks...
