SBS2003 redundancy

Any input re: using dual servers (one offsite) in a redundant configuration?
I didn't realize the documentation re: only 1 domain controller in a SBS2003
environment until after setting them up independently. I linked them
together through a router, configured for DFS, and started adding users.
Everything appears to be working properly until I went back to continue the
installation. I then saw the error re: the domain controller limitation. I
thought this would be a great, cost effective answer to our company with an
offsite server configured. We only have about 35 users and getting SQL &
Exchange for a great price sounded too good to be true. I installed the
additional components manually and both servers appear to be working
properly. I don't want a SP to cancel out my redundancy at some point in the
future.
