SBS Client Application Launcher failure

Hi
Since a Windows XP update about two weeks ago, all our XP computers have the
following error message on startup:-
"SBS Client application launcher has encountered a problem etc............."
.. However, it doesn't seem to affect the running of any applications. The
event log reports the faulting application "applnch.exe ver. 5.2.2651.0."
Our SBS 2003 server (not SP1) was updated on the same day but we noticed
that the problem didn't occur until the client was updated.
Any ideas? Why if all our XP machines were affected are there no other
reports of problems?
