RE: Fax Preview Button

Hello GHN,

Thank you for posting in the SBS newsgroup.

According to your description, I understand that you would like to make the
"Preview Fax" button is available to users without local administrators
permission on their computers. If I have misunderstood your concern, please
don't hesitate to let me know.

Based on my testing, the "Preview Fax" button is available to users
regardless of whether or not the users belong to Administrator, Power User
or User groups. To narrow down this issue, please help me answer and
perform the following questions and steps:

1. What OS is installed on the problematic computer?

2. Which security group is the user a member of?

3. Please go to Control Panel - > Folder options -> File Types. Select tif
and change the default application to use to open these files as "Windows
Picture and Fax Viewer". Please check if the issue can be re-produced.

4. If this issue occurs on the Windows XP Home Edition SP1-based or the
Windows XP Professional SP1-based computer, please refer to the below KB
article:

5. If the issue still persists, please make a screen shot of the issue and
attach it in your reply.

I'm looking forward to your update. If you have any questions or concerns,
please do not hesitate to let me know. I am always happy to be of further
assistance.
