Hi Fulco,
I've been monitoring this and your previous thread as I had exactly the same
problem. I finally fixed it yesterday but I'm not sure how!!!!.
I don't have regular direct access to the server so have been trying various
fixes via remote desktop over VPN. None of these have worked. Yesterday I
had chance to work on the server directly and was going to try the "remove
and reinstall monitoring and reporting" suggestion I've seen.
I started the process from add/remove programs selecting SBS2003 and got the
first dialog of the "part 2" setup process. This states the process will
take about 30 minutes, which I didn't have at the time so cancelled out. I
logged out of the server and returned 2 to 3 hours later to start again and
checked the monitoring page within server management. I don't know why but
it's now working perfectly!!
I've three theories,
1) I was working with the main administrator account. I usually use a user
account that's a member of the domain admin group
2) Something about the admin account logging locally has reset something
that wasn't reset by logging via remote desktop.
3) Starting the SBS setup process has reset something.
Other than that I'm baffled, but happy that the reports working correctly
again.
Experts - does any of this make any sense or give you any clue's?
