Lan setup 2 nic

I am trying to change from a single nic internet/lan setup on sbs 2003 to a
two nic setup directly connecting to a dsl modem from the server, using the
SBS firewall (standard version) and then using the existing router just as a
switch for connecting to the internal network. I have made the changeover
almost without problems, I can get to the internet from the server and the
clients and can connect to the server from the clients however the clients
are invisible from the server. I have tried repairing the connection on the
server but I always get an error message saying “failed to flush ARP cache”.
I have installed the DHCP service on the server and also the DNS on the
server (disabled on the router). I am using the same IP as the server address
for the DHCP, DNS servers and also for the gateway settings on the clients.
Anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong here?
Thanks in advance RD Wirr
