Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, been out setting up some new
systems.

Okay then, back to the thread.

Your point 5) With Antispam switched off I created a new user and still
no automatic mail. I also checked the event log as you suggested, no
events relating to this issue.

Your point 6) The file, "samplemail.htm" is in the correct location.

Please let me know if you have any more ideas
