I have a customer whose SMTP connector quit working. I have called the ISP
and they said to use their SMTP server you now have to Authenticate to it.
This is crap because I use the same ISP and my SBS2003 server works just fine
without the authentication.
I have done the following to try and resolve the issue:
Setup the advanced outbound security options on the default SMTP server to
basic authentication with the ISP user name and pw.
Setup the ISP user name and pw in the Default SMTP Virtual Server.
Any possible solutions would be greatly appreciated.
